Strikers skipper Colin Ingram could bounce back in Big Bash
Renegades start as outsiders
Strikers v Renegades
BT Sport 2, 8.15am Sunday
Melbourne Renegades beat a powerful Perth Scorchers side in their first game of the Big Bash campaign but they are outsiders for their second assignment at Adelaide Strikers.
The Strikers also made a winning start, easing to a five-wicket victory over Brisbane Heat thanks to a typically impressive spell of 3-19 from brilliant Afghan leg-spinner Rashid Khan.
Alex Carey's 46-ball innings of 70 powered the Adelaide run-chase despite a rare failure for skipper Colin Ingram, who was dismissed for one.
The former South Africa batsman is worth supporting against the Renegades, having developed into a consistent matchwinner in Twenty20 leagues around the world.
Ingram averages 30 in 20-over cricket, scoring his runs at an excellent strike-rate of 139, and he was snapped up for around £715,000 by Delhi Capitals in this week's IPL auction.
