England beat South Africa by 191 runs in Johannesburg to complete a 3-1 series win over the Proteas.

Mark Wood took four wickets to add to the five he took in the first innings and was named man-of-the-match as South Africa lost their last six wickets for 39 runs.

Joe Root's side had been 11-8 shots to win the series but they drifted out to 11-2 after losing the first match in Centurion. The 3-1 correct score was an 11-2 chance before a ball was bowled.

Dominic Sibley cemented his place at the top of the England batting order by being the visitor's top runscorer for the series with 324, while Stuart Broad led the bowlers with 14 scalps.

Quinton de Kock (380 runs) and Anrich Nortje (18 wickets) were South Africa's leading performers.

The sides will now play a three-match ODI series starting with a day-night contest in Cape Town on Tuesday, February 4.

England are 4-6 with Paddy Power to win their first 50-over match since last year's World Cup final. South Africa are 6-5 underdogs.

Sky Bet make Eoin Morgan's world champions 1-2 shots to claim series honours, with a 2-1 margin of victory rated the most likely at odds of 6-5. A 3-0 clean sweep is 11-4.

South Africa are 13-8 to win the series, with correct-score prices of 9-4 for a 2-1 win and 9-1 for a 3-0 romp.

England's next Test series is a tour of Sri Lanka which starts in March.
