Friday's other matches 11am start

With wet and windy weather forecast for Taunton, the best betting approach to take to the televised One-Day Cup clash between Somerset and Essex is to split stakes on in-form seamers Craig Overton and Sam Cook being their team's leading wicket-taker.

Overton has claimed nine wickets for the unbeaten hosts, including a haul of 5-18 after hitting 66 not out when the Cidermen beat Kent by 264 runs in their Taunton opener, and he took 12 in last year's 50-over tournament.

Cook has six white-ball wickets this season for the Eagles with a best return of 3-37 in Tuesday's 65-run defeat to Surrey at the Oval. He also took 2-25 in Essex's win over Glamorgan in Cardiff.

While Somerset are a tempting 8-11 shots to maintain their perfect start in the South Group, Notts are a prohibitive 4-9 to go four-from-four in the North Group when they host Leicestershire.

The Outlaws edged out Lancashire by only 11 runs despite walloping 417-6 in their only 50-ball Trent Bridge outing and while the Foxes have claimed just one victory, it was over Worcestershire, who are in fine form.
