Somerset should down Kent in Blast battle

There is no let-up to the furious progress of the T20 Blast with six counties continuing their quest for a place at Finals Day.

Live action comes from Canterbury as Kent host a Somerset side who are beginning to hit their straps in this competition.

Going into last night’s home clash with Hampshire, the Cidermen had won two of their last three completed outings in comfortable fashion.

Kent, meanwhile, have been going in the opposite direction. The Spitfires have lost three of their last five and look uneasy odds-on favourites. In a tight match-up, Somerset certainly look the better option.

Worcestershire have made a terrible start to their 20-over campaign and Northants could compound their misery at Wantage Road.

The Rapids have suffered defeat in all four of their completed outings and should be no match for the Steelbacks.
