Saturday's betting preview

Fans of The Hundred are in for a treat on Saturday with four matches on the cards and one side to keep an eye on are the Trent Rockets men's side.

After a comfortable six-wicket win against Birmingham Phoenix, the Rockets made it back-to-back wins with a seven-wicket thrashing of Northern Superchargers on Tuesday.

Alex Hales impressed in both games with scores of 58 and 43 but his compatriot and opening partner Dawid Malan also got in on the act with an unbeaten 88 last time out against the Superchargers.

Their bowling department also managed to perform in the absence of Rashid Khan last time out with Daniel Sams taking his wickets tally to six in the tournament, and the Rockets look a great bet at a shade of odds-on to win at Old Trafford.

New Zealander Sophie Devine missed the inaugural season of The Hundred last year as she prepared for the World Cup but she is ready to lead a strong Birmingham Phoenix side this year.

And in their opener away to Welsh Fire, Devine could lead by example after a superb Commonwealth Games for the White Ferns.

In five matches, Devine blasted 177 runs, finishing with an unbeaten 51 against England at Edgbaston, and she can surpass her runs line of 23.5 at Sophia Gardens.
