Royal Challengers Bangalore perhaps exceeded expectations with their third-place finish in last year's Indian Premier League and they again look to be among the frontrunners for the playoffs.

They lost their opener to Punjab Kings with one over to spare but still hit the 200-run mark in that contest and followed it up with wins over Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals.

They look in great shape and are worth chancing at a shade of odds-on to beat Mumbai Indians, who are winless from their first three matches.

Under the new captaincy of Ravindra Jadeja, reigning IPL champions Chennai Super Kings have had a challenging start to the new season, losing all three of their matches.

However, they could have a shot at victory against unimpressive Sunrisers Hyderabad, and batsman Robin Uthappa will surely play an important role.

Uthappa has been fairly steady this season with knocks of 28, 50 and 13 and, against weaker opposition, he is worth a bet to reach at least 23 runs.
