The race for the County Championship is reaching a dramatic crescendo with just five points separating leaders Middlesex and Yorkshire.

The White Rose, 8-11 for the title, are 1-2 to beat relegation-threatened Hampshire in the latest round of matches while Middlesex are 10-11 to see off Warwickshire at Edgbaston.

Of the four Division One matches, Durham make the most appeal against struggling Nottinghamshire.
