Mumbai Indians reduced Chennai Super Kings to 25-4 in the first six overs of their first game after the resumption of the IPL season but not much has gone right for the defending champions since then.

Chennai staged a remarkable comeback to win that match by 20 runs and, after four defeats out of five in the UAE, Mumbai must beat Rajasthan Royals if they are to have any chance of retaining their title.

One of the few Mumbai players to have impressed recently is experienced middle-order batsman Saurabh Tiwary, who made an unbeaten 50 in the defeat to Chennai and followed up with scores of five not out, 45 and 15.

Tiwary is 6-1 to top-score – decent odds given that he is likely to bat at number four and a more attractive bet than the out-of-sorts Indians at 8-11 to beat a talented Royals side also in the hunt for a playoff spot.
