Match preview

Pakistan breezed past India and New Zealand in their first two matches at the T20 World Cup before winning a closer contest against Afghanistan last time out.

That game looked poised for a tight finish until the 19th over when Asif Ali hit four sixes to seal a third straight victory for Pakistan, who are hot favourites to make it four out of four against Namibia.

The southern African side have done well to reach the Super 12 stage, beating Scotland in their first game of the second phase, but they were hammered by the Afghans in their second outing.

Their batsmen crawled to 98-9 off 20 overs in reply to Afghanistan's 160-5 and they could be outclassed by Pakistan's bowlers, in particular fearsome left-arm quick Shaheen Shah Afridi.

The new-ball bowler was player of the match against India, when he dismissed star batsmen KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, and he should add to his wickets tally against far weaker opponents in Abu Dhabi.
