Trent Rockets were one of three sides to reach the knockout stage of the inaugural season of The Hundred and they have started the 2022 campaign on the front foot, beating last year's runners-up Birmingham Phoenix in their opener.
Dumped out in the eliminator last year, the Rockets started this year's tournament with a six-wicket triumph over a power-packed Phoenix batting unit, who were restricted to 143 at Trent Bridge.
Next up for the Nottingham-based franchise is a trip to Headingley, where they will take on a Northern Superchargers side who also made a winning start against Manchester Originals.
Rockets opener Alex Hales impressed with 58 - a knock which included five fours and two sixes - against Birmingham and he will have a big role to play if the visitors are to make it two from two in Leeds.
Hales was also in fine form in this summer's T20 Blast for Nottinghamshire, hitting 374 runs, and such performances are nothing new for the England powerhouse.
The 33-year-old recorded an unbeaten 40 when these two sides met last year and he is worth backing to surpass his runs line of 22.5 when the teams reconvene at Headingley on Tuesday evening.
