Middlesex v Surrey
Sky Sports 2, 6.15pm Thursday
Middlesex versus Surrey at Lord’s is always one of the biggest fixtures of the T20 Blast season and the London rivals have been involved in some thrilling finishes in the first few days of this year’s competition.

Middlesex tied their opener at Gloucestershire while Surrey, 10-11 for victory at Lord's, won their opening two games by an aggregate margin of six runs.

They looked to be cruising against Somerset before a late blitz from Corey Anderson and a 12-run penalty for a slow over-rate left them clinging on for a two-run victory.

Brendon McCullum, another hard-hitting New Zealander, captains Middlesex, who needed an explosive 68 not out from number seven Ryan Higgins to earn a share of the points in their opening game.

Higgins is 25-1 to top-score once again but Eoin Morgan is an eye-catching price at 5-1, behind McCullum, Dawid Malan and Ireland’s Paul Stirling in the betting.

Morgan made a duck against Gloucestershire but he has been in fine form for England’s one-day side and scored 220 runs in seven Blast innings last year.

Coming in at number four could be a blessing given that Surrey took 3.2 overs to remove both Essex openers at Chelmsford and then had Somerset two wickets down after just four balls at The Oval.

Essex followed the two-run loss to Surrey with a disappointing display at Kent and they are 5-6 to make home advantage count against Somerset.

Gloucestershire are a standout 11-10 with Betway at home to Kent.
