Punjab Kings gave a glimpse of their batting potential as they chased down 206 to beat Royal Challengers Bangalore last weekend and they look set for an intriguing clash with the impressive Kolkata Knight Riders' bowling attack.

The Knight Riders restricted champions Chennai to 131-5 on their way to an opening win and took Bangalore to the final over on Wednesday when defending a total of just 128.

Star spinner Sunil Narine has been at the heart of things for KKR, with combined figures of 1-27 off eight overs in his first two games, and he is a tempting 12-1 to be named man of the match against Punjab.

The Kings may feel they have the batting depth to take on Narine but that is a dangerous tactic and the West Indian has also been in fine form with the bat, cracking 57 off 16 balls and 57 off 23 balls in his last two Bangladesh Premier League innings in February.
