Kolkata Knight Riders won their first two games of the IPL season at home and, after an entertaining sequence of four away fixtures, they can make a successful return to Eden Gardens against Delhi Capitals.

Delhi beat Kolkata in a Super Over in the first of the Knight Riders' road trips but Kolkata responded well with impressive victories over Bangalore and Rajasthan.

They came unstuck on a sluggish wicket in Chennai last time out, when even the seemingly unstoppable Andre Russell was restricted to 50 off 44 balls.

Russell is doubtful with a wrist injury but Kolkata are worth backing as their bowling attack should have too much nous for an inconsistent Delhi top order.

Sunil Narine, Piyush Chawla and Kuldeep Yadav make up a formidable spin attack while Prasidh Krishna is a pacy threat and English left-armer Harry Gurney impressed on his IPL debut, claiming 2-25 from four overs against Rajasthan.

Delhi have won three and lost three of their six games but their batting collapsed spectacularly against Punjab and they somehow ended up in a Super Over against the Knight Riders despite needing only 18 runs off 18 balls with eight wickets in hand.
