Jordan Silk value to shine for Sydney Sixers

Melbourne Renegades are solid favourites to extend their perfect start to the Big Bash to three wins out of three with a home victory over Sydney Sixers.

The Sixers have made a patchy start to the competition, winning one and losing two of their first three games, while the Renegades displayed their strength in depth against Adelaide Strikers last time out.

Chasing 175 for victory, they slipped to 82-5 before a stunning unbroken sixth-wicket stand between Mohammad Nabi (48 not out) and Dan Christian (49 not out) saw them home.

The Sixers' top-order batsmen have struggled to make an impact in their first three games and middle-order man Jordan Silk looks the value to top-score for the underdogs.

The 26-year-old was dismissed for a golden duck in the Sydney derby against the Thunder but either side of that failure he smashed 67 not out against the Scorchers and 41 not out against the Stars.
