IPL: Chennai Super Kings v Sunrisers Hyderabad betting preview, tip & TV details
MS Dhoni's men can return to winning ways
TV: BT Sport 3 / Star Gold, 3.30pm Wednesday
Chennai's air of invincibility has been quashed in the last week following back-to-back defeats but they return to the top of the IPL with victory over Hyderabad.
The Super Kings lost the reverse fixture by six wickets on Wednesday but were missing skipper MS Dhoni, who returned with an unbeaten 84 in a one-run defeat to Bangalore last time out.
He provides much-needed support for openers Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis, who have been faltering at the crease.
Chennai are a stronger unit on home soil, where they have won all four of their IPL assignments in 2019.
But their coach Stephen Fleming believes the MA Chidambaram's sluggish pitch has hindered their opening batsmen this season and it could also nullify the threat of Sunrisers' top two, who have contributed 71 per cent of their total runs in 2019.
