Royal Challengers Bangalore v Delhi Capitals

BT Sport 3 / Star Gold, 11.30am Sunday

Royal Challengers Bangalore have endured a dismal start to their IPL campaign but they are favourites to get off the mark with victory over Delhi Capitals.

Virat Kohli's men were on course for a first win of the season after putting on 205 against Kolkata Knight Riders, only for Andre Russell's eye-watering 13-ball score of 48 to inflict a fifth successive defeat on Bangalore.

Defending big totals has been a persistent issue and their bowlers could struggle to tame the 2018 Emerging Player of the Season at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Risabh Pant has justified that label at the start of this campaign, leading the way for Delhi with 158 runs.

He top-scored for the Capitals against Kings XI Pubjab's fierce bowling attack featuring Mohammed Shami, Ravi Ashwin and Sam Curran, and can sparkle again.

Rajasthan Royals v Kolkata Knight Riders

BT Sport 3 / Star Gold, 3.30pm Sunday

Rajasthan Royals need to get points on the board quickly if they are to emulate last year's fourth-placed finish but they could scarcely face tougher opponents than the red-hot Kolkata Knight Riders.

The visitors have won three of their opening four IPL matches thanks to the explosive batting of Andre Russell, with their only defeat coming after a Super Over against Delhi.

The Royals avoided dropping to the foot of the table by claiming their first victory of the campaign against Bangalore on Tuesday and they have plenty of experienced batsmen including Jos Buttler and Steve Smith.

But they allowed their other three opponents to reach 175 runs and considering the current form of Russell (207 runs), Nitish Rana (169 runs) and Robin Uthappa (146 runs), punters should look to back favourites Kolkata.

Recommendation
Kolkata Knight Riders
