Hobart Hurricanes v Melbourne Renegades preview

Melbourne Renegades have made a flawless start to the Big Bash and can make it four wins out of four by winning in Tasmania against the Hobart Hurricanes.

Nic Maddinson's men have proved they can win either way by setting a target against Brisbane and successfully defending, and twice chasing down a total.

The first of those was against the Sydney Sixers, who set them a demanding 175 to win, and thanks to Aaron Finch's 43-ball 70 not out they got there with a ball to spare.

They are odds-against at the much-fancied Hurricanes, who have lost two of their three games.

The second of those losses was in Sydney on Wednesday against the Sixers, a six-run loss which sounds close, but one that in truth they were never in.

It was only late fireworks with the bat from Asif Ali, who smashed 41 from 13 deliveries, which got them anywhere close in a rain-affected tussle.
