Aaron Finch announced his arrival as a Surrey player in emphatic fashion in the County Championship on Saturday by firing a 90-ball century and the classy Australian is likely to prove a huge asset in the shortest form of the game.

Finch, who comes into the squad as overseas cover for Kumar Sangakkara, hit the first ball of his debut innings against Warwickshire for six and there could be more fireworks to come tonight.

Gloucestershire have a powerful Aussie of their own in the shape of Michael Klinger and the 36-year-old has been setting the pace in the T20 Blast this season, racking up 315 runs from eight innings including a century in the derby clash with Somerset on Friday evening.
