Second T20 preview

England registered their highest tally of sixes in a Twenty20 international (20) in a high-octane 41-run win over South Africa on Wednesday and are again expected to turn on the style in the second match of the series at Sophia Gardens.

The hosts are 4-9 to come out on top, having fired 234 runs in the series opener thanks largely to a knock of 90 from Jonny Bairstow.

Moeen Ali (52) also impressed with a record 16-ball half-century to put England in the ascendancy at the Bristol County Ground.

But at 9-2, Dawid Malan could represent the best value in England's top runscorer market for the match in Cardiff.

Malan fired 43 from 23 balls last time out, following on from a sharp 77 against India in the shortest format earlier this month.

He was also in the runs when England put on an ODI record 498 against the Netherlands last month, contributing an impressive 125, and can again make an impact for Jos Buttler's men.
