Dazzling Delhi Daredevils skipper could trouble Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings were beaten by lowly Mumbai last time out and they tackle another of the IPL's strugglers, Delhi Daredevils, in Pune.

The Daredevils are bottom of the table but they thumped Kolkata by 55 runs in the first match since Shreyas Iyer took over the captaincy from Gautam Gambhir and the new skipper could lead the way once again.

Iyer is a dazzling Twenty20 batsman, who goes into this match after three consecutive half-centuries – the latest of which was a stunning unbeaten 93 off just 40 balls against Kolkata.

He is a tempting price to top-score for the underdogs, whose chances of victory could be boosted if they win the toss and ask Chennai to bat first.

The Super Kings have nailed some spectacular run-chases this season (and fell just four runs short of Kings XI Punjab's 197-7) but they put up a below-par 169-6 batting first in Saturday's defeat to Mumbai.
