Dashing Sabbir is a danger to Sri Lanka

Bangladesh marked their 100th Test match with an impressive victory over Sri Lanka and the tourists are 7-5 to prolong their celebrations by winning the first ODI in Dambulla.

The Tigers undoubtedly have plenty of 50-over talent and England had to scrap hard for their 2-1 series win in Bangladesh last October.

One of the long-term jewels in the Bangladesh crown could be dashing batsman Sabbir Rahman, who is bidding to cement his position at number three in the one-day order.

He has shown his promise with scores of 65, 18, three, 49, 38 and 19 since his promotion and he top-scored with 72, off just 63 balls, in Wednesday's warm-up game against a Sri Lanka Board President's 11.

At 5-1, Sabbir is an appealing bet to lead the way for the Tigers.
