Hobart Hurricanes will be looking to get the wind back in their sails after a thumping by Sydney Thunder on Saturday and they will fancy their chances against Adelaide in Monday's Big Bash League action.

Skipper Matthew Wade hit a swashbuckling 67 before a collapse saw the Tasmanians beaten by 62 runs, but they should put up a stronger effort against a team who have lost their last three games.

However, while Adelaide fell to the Melbourne Stars in their latest game, there were some encouraging signs.

A chase of 33 runs from the final two overs proved too tough a task, but Adam Hose scored his maiden 50 in the competition and should take plenty of confidence from that.

While Matthew Short has been Adelaide's top runscorer this season and will need to be at the top of his game to initiate the fightback - his two big scores have both come in home matches - the potential contribution of number three Chris Lynn should not be overlooked.

The Australia batsman has got a start in most of his BBL outings this term and it is only a matter of time before he converts, so he is worth supporting in the top Adelaide runscorer market.
