IPL holders Mumbai Indians are just 4-6 to get their campaign up and running at the third attempt when they host the Delhi Daredevils.

They have been edged out in the final over by Chennai Super Kings and Hyderabad Sunrisers when needing only a wicket to prevail, whereas the Daredevils have been a clear second-best in their encounters with Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals.

However, keeper-bat Rishabh Pant could prove a top Daredevils runscorer gem at the Wankhede Stadium. Pant topped the list with 20 in Delhi's six-over slog against the Royals and made 28 against Kings XI, while January's 32-ball Zonal T20 ton is just one of his stunning previous knocks.

At Eden Gardens, Kolkata Knight Riders will probably still be wondering how they lost Tuesday's game in Chennai to the Super Kings after Andre Russell's 36-ball 88 not out lifted them to 202-6 while the Sunrisers may still be shaking after Thursday's dramatic last-ball success over the Indians.

Rather than make the choice between two tidy teams, take Sunil Narine to get 39 or more performance points for the Knight Riders.

Supreme spinner Narine's main accumulation area is the 20 points awarded for each wicket but he has also developed into a dangerous pinch-hitting opener. His 50 against Royal Challengers Bangalore was a fifth T20 half-century and his fielding is improving. One point is awarded per run scored and ten per catch.
