Adelaide Strikers v Hobart Hurricanes preview

Adelaide Strikers and Hobart Hurricanes racked up the runs in their meeting at the Blundstone Arena on Monday, scoring a combined 355, and punters should expect more big hitting when they reconvene at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday.

The Hurricanes won that encounter by seven wickets but little separates the teams in the Big Bash League standings with the sides level on six points.

That defeat was particularly frustrating for Adelaide's top-order batsman Chris Lynn, whose knock of 87 from 58 balls proved in vain.

Lynn, who was let go by Brisbane Heat before this season, is the Big Bash League's all-time top men's runscorer, having scored 3,265 runs since first featuring in 2011.

And this season he has shown he is still up for it, sitting top of the scoring charts prior to Wednesday's matches with 260 runs in seven innings at an average of 37.14.

He can again curtail the Hobart attack and rack up at least 24 runs.
