Fight fans don't have to wait long for the first huge bout of 2021 as Olympic gold medallist Luke Campbell crosses the Atlantic to clash with exciting American Ryan Garcia in Dallas tonight.

Garcia has been touted as a future global star in the ring and has been flawless in his 20-fight professional career, which has included 17 knockouts.

The 22-year-old American has knocked out his last two opponents in the first round and has been well supported since this fight was announced, but facing Campbell is a huge step up in class.

The Hull lightweight was last in action when sharing a ring with Ukrainian legend Vasyl Lomachenko and has proved himself good enough to compete with the very best.

Garcia has been very vocal and is full of self-belief, but this is easily his biggest test to date and one in which he will need to justify the hype to get the result and bag the interim WBC world lightweight title.

Campbell has been knocked down more than once in his career, but has got back to his feet and completed all 12 rounds on every occasion. He is durable and technically very good, but it's unlikely the Brit will win over the judges as the away fighter and the smart play here is on the fight going the distance.
