Lyndon Arthur and Anthony Yarde get it on for the second time on Saturday night. There are no belts on the line on this occasion, but the number one spot in the WBO rankings and a potential world title clash against Joe Smith Jnr is up for grabs.

Yarde was the fancied runner going into the first fight, even after he was exposed by a good, but 36-year-old Sergey Kovalev in 2019.

The Beast from the East didn't seem to have much of a game plan against Kovalev and he allowed Arthur to use his jab to control the contest in their first bout.

The Hackney man is a big-hitter but he was looking to load up and land single shots too often and essentially handed the imitative to King Arthur.

The Londoner has decided to stay loyal to coach Tunde Ajayi. That is an interesting decision and it will be intriguing to see if the pair can hatch a successful plan this time around.

Arthur boxed well when the pair clash previously and the Manchester man has since stopped the unbeaten Davide Faraci. The Italian was untested but that does look a decent victory.

It’s up to Yarde to change the direction in the rematch and if he can throw in combinations, increase his workrate and not continually look for single heavy shots, he should be able to win the bout.

It isn't going to take much improvement for Yarde to turn the tables, and although it's difficult to have complete confidence in team Yarde's approach, quotes of 4-5 look too big.

It should be a good fight and the Beast from the East can be backed to dethrone King Arthur.
