Olympic silver medallist Joe Joyce continues his professional journey at London's York Hall with a clash against American-based giant Donnie 'Big Nasty' Palmer, but don't expect an upset.

This is Joyce's third pro outing and he has looked good so far, starting with an eighth-round KO of established domestic-level fighter Ian Lewison before a first-round stoppage of overmatched Croatian Rudolf Jozic last month.

Big things are expected of Joyce, known as The Juggernaut, and this is seen as a tune-up fight ahead of a tougher test on the undercard of the Tony Bellew v David Haye rematch in May - Haye is Joyce's promoter - and they are taking no risks by matching him with Palmer.

Standing 6ft 10in, Big Nasty looks intimidating but he is nowhere near the level of Joyce, and although a record of 9-1-1 with 8 KOs looks decent, none of his opponents have been of a high standard.

Fighting such a big man will be a useful exercise for Joyce, but once he finds his range it should not last long.

At the prices Joyce is virtually unbackable to win, but a bet on a first or second-round stoppage could be the way to go when prices become available.
