Joe Joyce has the power to blast out Hanks

Jason Welborn looks out of his depth

British champion Jason Welborn takes on Jarrett Hurd as the headline bout on the Wilder v Fury undercard for a clutch of world super-welterweight titles, but it could end in tears for Welborn with Hurd no better than 1-8 to win by knockout.

Undefeated Hurd was on a run of seven straight stoppages until a split-decision win in his last fight when he needed a final-round knockdown to overcome Erislandy Lara, but Welborn is nowhere near that level.

Welborn's last two fights were also split-decision wins, against Tommy Langford at middleweight for the Lonsdale belt, but he has six defeats on his record - three by KO - and looks out of his depth.

Easier viewing for British fans should come in the huge shape of Joe Joyce, who is 1-5 to knockout Joe Hanks.

This should be a routine win for 2016 Olympic silver medal winner Joyce, who has been acting as Tyson Fury's main sparring partner and is building up for an assault at world level next year.

Hanks has only had two fights since May 2014 and Joyce should bulldoze him.

Luis Ortiz, who almost knocked out Deontay Wilder earlier this year, is also in action and is 4-9 to stop Travis Kauffman.

Recommendation
J Joyce to win in rounds one to five
