World Super Series quarter-final/WBA super world super-middleweight title
ITV Box Office, from 7pm Saturday

Genuine British superfights are often etched into the memories of sports fans and that is exactly what we can look forward to if George Groves beats Jamie Cox at Wembley Arena.

Pouting and posturing at ringside will be Chris Eubanks, junior and senior, who both lie in wait. Junior sent a very clear message out when he won his World Super Series quarter-final last week with a stunning three-round destruction of Avni Yildirim, and the winner of this fight will face him early next year.

Groves won a world title at the fourth attempt when he beat Fedor Chudinov in May via a sixth-round stoppage and it is easy to see why he is a huge favourite.

He has tremendous experience against a wide range of world-class fighters, and is likely to be able to handle anything Cox has to offer.

All three of Groves's defeats came in world title challenges, and the brutal punches he was landing against Chudinov prove he still has plenty of power in the tank.

Groves is several levels above anyone Cox has fought before, but the 5-1 underdog's biggest problem may be his temperament.

He was lucky not to have been disqualified against Martin Fidel Rios last year for blatant and frequent use of the head and any loss of composure will do Cox no favours.

He is also the naturally smaller man - he made his pro debut at 144lbs ten years ago, Groves did the same a year later and weighed 167lbs.

Expect Groves to follow Eubank's lead a with a convincing stoppage victory, and set up a classic all-British battle with Junior.

Sky are showing three world title fights for various versions of the super-welterweight belts (Sky Sports Main Event/Action, from 12.30am).

Jermell Charlo is 8-11 to beat Erickson Lubin (WBC), Jarrett Hurd is 1-3 against Austin Trout (IBF) and Erislandy Lara is 1-14 v Terrell Gausha (WBA).
