Are we about to see a new jockey for Gold Cup favourite Thistlecrack? If information The Dikler has read is anything to go by then we certainly will.

Despite Tom Scudamore partnering the World Hurdle winner on his last nine starts, Thistlecrack could benefit from a change in the eyes of one individual and his case for taking the ride is compelling.

Asked to write a persuasive letter for a school project, Freddie Keighley, son of trainer Martin and Belinda Keighley, wrote to his teacher outlining why he, and not Scudamore, was the right person to ride Thistlecrack.
