The connections of Yala Enki have challenged the "totally ridiculous" decision by stewards to give jockey Bryony Frost a two-day ban for careless riding after their Grade 3 win at Cheltenham on Sunday.

After landing the 3m3½f handicap chase by a length and a quarter from The Mighty Don, Frost was suspended for careless riding over alleged interference with Empire De Maulde, who finished third.

The stewards concluded the jockey manoeuvred left towards the rail when insufficiently clear with three fences to go, which caused Brian Hughes to take a check and switch right aboard Empire De Maulde, resulting in him making contact with Go Another One.
