The Dikler has long wished to own a top-class animal athlete, but so far such fortune has been elusive and many millions of pounds have been squandered in its pursuit.

However, there appears to be a solution to this problem at hand after a cross-Atlantic coup which gave The Dikler hope for the future.

On Saturday night at Del Mar in California, Godolphin’s Wuheida produced a superb display to win the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf.
