School’s out for summer, nearly, and the young people will be out and about getting up to whatever young people get up to over the next month and a half.

A few of them might even make it to a racecourse, although The Dikler hopes they do not take after the example set by some of their elders at Newton Abbot recently.

The course was forced to eject 14 people at its last meeting for a range of disorderly behaviour, including throwing drinks, possession of drugs and, well, streaking.
