Wily Kinane could be a useful ally as Manchester United seek ways to recover

Last week we mused on whether some time with serial winner Dan Skelton might be best for the players of Manchester United given their recent poor run of form.

It is fair to say the current crop are not close to the teams put together by former manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who won 38 trophies during his time at the helm.

Ferguson, as well as continuing to take a keen interest in events at Old Trafford, is also a racing nut having owned the likes of Clan Des Obeaux and Rock Of Gibraltar and was in attendance to watch United lose to rivals Manchester City last week.
