William Hill latest bookmaker to agree vital streaming and data deal

William Hill are understood to be the latest major bookmaker to agree terms on a key streaming and data rights deal with racecourses including the Arena Racing Company (Arc) group, while similar agreements with some of Britain's other major online bookmakers appear close to being secured.

The deals, if completed, would provide a substantial boost to racecourse revenues and help make up some of the shortfall in media rights income caused by betting shop closures.

Bet365, Coral, Ladbrokes and William Hill have continued to offer streaming of races from tracks affiliated to the At The Races/Sky Sports Racing group despite the deals to allow that to happen expiring at the end of 2019.
