The Cheltenham Festival begins with a thrilling running of the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle (1.30) with exciting prospects Constitution Hill, Jonbon and Dysart Dynamo poised to clash in the opener. Some famous faces have their say on who they think will come out on top . . .

1.30 Tuesday: Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle racecard and betting

Mick Fitzgerald, ex-jockey and pundit: Constitution Hill

It's as good a Supreme I've seen in a while. You'd have to go back to the Altior, Min, Buveur D'Air year to have as much strength in depth. I think it's a great way to kick the festival off.

There's a lot of talking horses in there. People said Nicky Henderson wasn't going to run two but he is and they're two good ones. Constitution Hill could be a star of the future.

I've not been lucky enough to ride work on him but his work has always been good and he's just a very thorough professional racehorse. He walks past you and you wouldn't notice him.

He schooled the other morning and I was a bit worried. Nicky had to water his schooling strip to make sure it wasn't too quick. I thought it'd be interesting to see how he coped going a gallop on the quicker ground. But of all the horses that schooled, he was the most impressive.

Noel Fehily, ex-jockey: Kilcruit

I think it looks a hell of a good race, as good a Supreme as we've seen in some time, and you can make a case for plenty in it.

I've been very impressed with Constitution Hill and he looks a beautiful horse, but I'm hoping Kilcruit will run a big race.

He put in a really big run behind Sir Gerhard in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival last season and he beat him at Punchestown after that too. It looked like he was back in form the last day, so I'd be hoping he could run well.

Free Cheltenham Festival tips: six horses to back on Tuesday

Jessica Harrington, trainer: Jonbon

It's going to be one of the races of the week and any one of Dysart Dynamo, Constitution Hill and Jonbon could win it.

Purely at the prices, I'd have to say Jonbon is the value, but I wouldn't dare ask Nicky [Henderson] if Jonbon is better than Constitution Hill.

It's a race that is very close to my heart as JP McManus owns Jonbon and Michael Buckley owns Constitution Hill. It should be a great race to watch.

Kevin O'Ryan, agent: Dysart Dynamo

If the occasion doesn't get to Dysart Dynamo, I think he'll take a lot of beating. He was very impressive at Punchestown. He is a free-going horse but, with 65,000 people in attendance and an electric atmosphere, it will be crucial that he overcomes the preliminaries. He's the best horse in the race.

I also like Mighty Potter and think the race will be run to suit him. He's uncomplicated and will be dropped in. He'll come home and will be picking up the pieces. I think he's an each-way bet to nothing but Dysart Dynamo looks the best horse in the race.
