Which jockeys will O'Brien turn to for his Classic squad at Epsom?
The fact Aidan O'Brien is likely to use only British-based riders for this year's Investec Derby and Oaks adds a further layer of intrigue. Never will he be more relieved to have Ryan Moore as his stable jockey than this year.
Moore is Ballydoyle's number one and as such will be jocked up on the stable's main hope, which the betting suggests will be one of Russian Emperor, Mogul or Vatican City for the colts' Classic and Love or Peaceful in the fillies' equivalent.
However, with seven entries in the Derby and four in the Oaks, who else can O'Brien turn to? With the likes of Frankie Dettori and Tom Marquand – who he used in the 2,000 Guineas – already tied up, O'Brien will need to look elsewhere.
