What's on this week: who could claim the Paddy Power Imperial Cup at Sandown?
Monday
The Cheltenham Festival is looming but there is plenty of intriguing racing in the build-up, and on Monday qualifiers for the Racing Post Go North Series continue at Wetherby, which hosts a seven-race jumps card.
Champion jockey-elect Brian Hughes has six rides on the card, including in the Class 3 handicap hurdle (3.30) where his mount Albert's Back is bidding to bounce back to form after three poor efforts this term.
More jump racing comes from Southwell and in Ireland with the second day of the jumps finale at Leopardstown, featuring a rematch between Glengouly and Sam's Choice in the Irish EBF Auction novice hurdle (2.35), followed by all-weather action at Wolverhampton in the evening.
Tuesday
There are three meetings across Britain, headed by jumps fixtures at Sandown and Newcastle, which includes more Go North qualifiers.
Newcastle's eight-race card includes a Class 3 handicap chase (3.15), which is set to feature Bavington Bob, who bids for his fourth win in a row for Ann and Ian Hamilton.
Sandown hosts the Grand Military Gold Cup (3.30) while evening all-weather action from Wolverhampton follows.
Wednesday
Jumps racing comes from Fontwell and Catterick, where John McConnell sends over Streets Of Doyen, last year's Albert Bartlett third who runs in the Class 3 novice chase (4.35).
Flat racing comes from Lingfield, with the Karl Burke-trained Kaboo chasing a four timer in the Class 3 6f handicap (4.10).
Evening action is provided by Kempton with the Sean Curran-trained Almufeed stepping up a furlong to attempt to complete a five-timer in a competitive 1m4f handicap (7.00).
Thursday
The first Irish meeting to take place since Monday sees jump racing at Thurles with other action at Carlisle and Wincanton, which could see Corey's Courage bid to stretch his unbeaten record in the mares' novice hurdle (2.35).
Flat action comes from Southwell while on an evening card at Newcastle Serenading could bid to add to his multiple course wins in the Class 3 mile handicap (8.00).
Friday
There is jumps action across the country with three meetings including Leicester, which could see The Edgar Wallace attempt to back up his debut chase success and make it three wins in a row in the handicap chase (2.40).
More jumps action comes from Newcastle, which could see Whizz Kid for Richard Newland back up his impressive maiden hurdle win in the novice hurdle (2.30), and could also feature Git Maker, who bids to maintain his unbeaten record under rules in the handicap hurdle (4.15).
Other jumps racing during the afternoon comes from Exeter with an evening meeting at Wolverhampton on the all-weather.
Saturday
Saturday's showpiece contest comes from Sandown as it hosts the lucrative Paddy Power Imperial Cup (2.25), won last year by the Dan Skelton-trained Langer Dan.
Sandown's seven-race card also includes a Grade 3 novice handicap hurdle final (1.50), a Listed handicap chase (3.35) and a Listed mares' bumper (3.00).
More jumping action comes from Ayr and Hereford, with two all-weather Flat meetings as well. Wolverhampton hosts the Listed Lady Wulfruna Stakes (2.40), won last year by Mums Tipple, with Lingfield hosting a Class 2 7f handicap (3.31). Evening action comes from Kempton.
Sunday
Sunday action comes in the form of three jumps meetings from Warwick, Bangor and Naas, where the Leinster National is the highlight. Warwick's card features plenty of qualifiers, including a Class 3 handicap hurdle (4.30) with Bangor hosting a mares' staying chase series qualifier (2.38).
