What's on this week: building up to Group races at the Curragh and Haydock
Monday
Gowran Park, Thirsk and Brighton are the three afternoon Flat meetings, while Listowel provides jumps fans with some action in Ireland.
Windsor hosts its usual Monday evening card, with the first race starting at 5.45, while all-weather racing takes place at Wolverhampton.
Tuesday
Bangor and Southwell host jumps meetings in Britain, with the former beginning at 2.00, while Lingfield and Newcastle put on all-weather evening meetings for Flat enthusiasts.
The sole meeting of the day in Ireland comes from Tipperary, where a seven-race card beginning at 6.00 takes place.
Wednesday
It is a 50-50 split between the Flat and jumps, with Newton Abbot hosting an eyecatching seven-race card. The Class 2 Racing Partnership Handicap Hurdle (3.00) has attracted 15 entries for a first prize of £11,261.
Fontwell and Wexford are the other two jumps cards of the afternoon, while Nottingham begins the afternoon's action on the Flat, starting at 12.00.
Kempton and Ripon provide the evening entertainment. The latter, which hosts a competitive Directors Cup Handicap (8.00).
Thursday
The feature races of the day come from Leopardstown's evening meeting in the form of the Listed Glencairn Stakes (7.25) and King George V Cup (7.55).
The latter contest, run over a mile and a half, was won last year by the useful Giuseppe Garibaldi, who went on to finish third behind Old Persian in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Hamilton, Haydock and Ripon all hold afternoon meetings, while Chelmsford, Ffos Las accompany Leopardstown later on in the day.
Friday
While Market Rasen, Brighton and Uttoxeter all host afternoon meetings, racing fans are in for a treat with intriguing evening cards at Goodwood and the Curragh.
The latter hosts the Group 3 Ballyogan Stakes (7.10) and featured among the entries are last year's Cheveley Park Stakes heroine Fairyland and Lacken Stakes victor So Perfect.
Goodwood's card includes a couple of novice contests, while Haydock and Bath also feature among the twilight fixtures.
Saturday
All six of Saturday's meetings are on the Flat and Haydock tops the list with a Listed race and two Group 3 events.
The Pinnacle Stakes (2.25) was won last year by God Given, who went on to give trainer Luca Cumani his final top-level success in Italy before retirement.
Newmarket's July course hosts its first meeting of the year and, with potential Royal Ascot clues on offer, is always worth keeping an eye on.
Chelmsford kicks off with three class 2 contests and Beverley also features for the afternoon's racing. Chepstow and Lingfield host the two evening meetings. The final US Classic of the season is staged in New York with the latest renewal of the Belmont Stakes.
Sunday
Goodwood and Perth are the two meetings of the day, the latter hosting the Perth Gold Cup. The feature contest is worth £40,000 to the winner and usually attracts a competitive field.
