Richard Hills believes super-chilled Baaeed will be unfazed by his first attempt beyond a mile at York on Wednesday (3.35) in what promises to be the toughest examination yet of the unbeaten superstar's credentials.

The William Haggas-trained four-year-old is the main attraction on the opening day of York's Ebor festival but faces a new challenge going up in distance by two and a half furlongs in the Juddmonte International.

The world's best racehorse will face a quality field of leading middle-distance performers in Native Trail, Alenquer and last year's impressive winner Mishriff in the £1 million contest, for which seven were declared on Monday.
