Weaver flummoxed by Goodwood layout - but not fur-long

The challenging conditions clearly had an effect on the excellent ITV presenting team, with Oli Bell asking several racegoers: “And what has brought you to Goodwood?” But it was another intriguing point from the ITV team that caught The Dikler’s attention.

Stood at the start for the 7f Lennox Stakes on the first day, Jason Weaver declared: “We’re stood here at the seven-furlong start, and as you can see the grandstand is miles away.”
