BoyleSports yesterday took the unusual step of suspending betting on the Irish jump trainers' title after reporting they had been "bombarded" with bets on reigning champion Willie Mullins retaining the title.

Paddy Power also reported significant support for Mullins, who last night was 1-4 (from 4-9) with the firm.

Mullins, who last month lost 60 horses owned by Gigginstown House Stud after a dispute over an increase in training fees, was 8-15 with BoyleSports yesterday morning.
