We are eyeing Listed glory with Emergent who is working very well
Silver Concorde won't run in today's Guinness Galway Hurdle. We were hoping he would win the maiden hurdle which opened yesterday's card and that would tee him up nicely for a crack at today's big one, but that plan did not go according to script and I've decided that throwing him into the deep end today would be asking too much. It wouldn't be fair on the horse.
He has had a long, tough season and you have to remember he ran at Killarney last July so has run eight times in 12 months. While it is always disappointing when you train an odds-on favourite that gets beaten, I have a strong suspicion that the winner is very useful indeed.
I do not think this will be the last you will be hearing of All The Answers and the pair of them pulled a long way clear of the third. We will give Silver Concorde a break now and freshen him up for something later in the year. I wasn't too despondent after the display and I'm convinced the winner is a very good horse.
