Watch: the incredible riding school bringing horses back to Liverpool streets
Frustrated by a lack of inner-city riding schools, Park Palace Ponies was set up almost five years ago and the team – including three paid staff and a host of volunteers – work tirelessly to provide riding lessons and basic pony care for children in Liverpool every day of the week.
The not-for-profit group relies on sponsorship and donations to thrive and has nine ponies, including the Racing Post-backed Magic, and we caught up with founder Keith Hackett and other members of the team to hear their story.
