Mark Walsh is facing a short spell on the sidelines after suffering a fractured cheekbone in a fall in a 3m handicap hurdle at Tipperary on Thursday.

Turf Club chief medical officer, Dr Adrian McGoldrick, said yesterday: "Mark will see a facial specialist early next week for a review. With this type of injury you're usually looking at about three weeks out of action."

Sidelined for a longer period will be 5lb claimer Dylan Robinson, who suffered a fractured wrist in a fall on the same Tipperary card.

"Dylan will undergo surgery and is likely to be sidelined for a few months," McGoldrick said.
