Chris Waller always felt Winx could be talented - just not this talented.

"She won her first start, which is always a good sign," Sydney's champion trainer recalls. "My opinion is that, in Australia, if they win their first start, they're probably going to be a Saturday-class horse, which is what we'd call a good horse.

"They need to improve to go up to the next level then to be a Listed or a Group horse, and that's what we call a proper horse."
