Veteran Chris Dwyer to return to training at 71 for new boutique venture
Veteran Chris Dwyer has been tempted out of retirement to front a new 'boutique' training operation called Global Group Racing that is being set up in Newmarket by Hong Kong businessman Johnny Hon.
A 71-year-old former jockey, Dwyer originally quit training two years ago after a gallops accident to concentrate on managing horses owned by his original owners.
Then training out of Brickfield Stud off Newmarket's Hamilton Road, Dwyer has been tempted out of retirement by Hon to take the licence at Albert House Stables which the owner is in the process of purchasing for his Global Group Racing operation.
