Congratulations to Dan Skelton, who has become just the second trainer to send out 200 winners during a British jumps season.

Only the legendary 15-time champion Martin Pipe had breached the 200-winner barrier before Skelton, and the Nicholashayne genius was quick to state his belief Skelton will eventually break his record of 243 winners in a season.

The achievement was also complimented by Chester Barnes, Pipe's long-term assistant trainer, who offers his daily musings on all manner of subjects in a blog on the website of Pipe’s son David.
