Unbeaten Envoi Allen among festival entries for both the Supreme and Ballymore
Hot Ballymore Novices' Hurdle favourite Envoi Allen, who is also prominent in the betting for the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle, featured among the entries for both Grade 1 races as contenders for the Cheltenham Festival's four junior hurdles became public on Thursday.
Trained by Gordon Elliott for Cheveley Park Stud, Envoi Allen, who could run at Leopardstown on Sunday, is unbeaten in all races seven he has contested and won the Weatherbys Champion Bumper at Cheltenham last year.
He was among 122 entries for the Ballymore, for which he is priced at around 5-4, and also featured among 86 entries for the Supreme. Shishkin, who was impressive at Newbury for Nicky Henderson recently, heads the betting for the festival opener at 4-1, while the Elliott-trained Abacadabras is also very prominent in that market.
The Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle has attracted 99 possibles, including general 5-1 favourite Thyme Hill, although like many others Philip Hobbs's star has been engaged in other races.
Aspire Tower, odds-on to win the Tattersalls Ireland Spring Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday, is also favourite for the festival's JCB Triumph Hurdle, and he is among 57 juveniles entered in that Grade 1, the first race on day four.
Full entries for the Supreme, Ballymore, Triumph and Albert Bartlett will be on the Racing Post website soon
