Twitter abuse! Spectre's appearance leaves lasting impression on McEntee

Social media has claimed a new scalp in a novel way after trainer Phil McEntee took a pearler of a fall filming for a Twitter post.

While some trainers and jockeys have been trolled by irate punters, McEntee had only himself to blame for ending up with a broken elbow after he was caught out by his seven-year-old miler Pearl Spectre.

McEntee explained on Sunday: "I was filming the horses at home out in the paddocks, to show how well and happy they looked, to post on Twitter. I just got in the way of one of them galloping around.
